Terms and Conditions of Payment

Any monies paid to the Himalayan Iyengar yoga centre are NON-REFUNDABLE but they are transferable to another date or course.

We may offer refund in the case that

  • The student becomes sufficiently unwell as to not be able to participate in the course. A doctor’s note may be required as proof.
  • Has been excluded from participation in the course, due to not adhering to the Requirements for Participation, Code of Conduct, or the Terms and Conditions of Payment.

In the event that the participant has to leave during the course due to either of the two points above, we will deduct 12% administrative charges. The refunded amount will only include the cost of the days not participated in the course minus 12%. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR CLASSES OR DAYS COMPLETED.

If the applicant resigns due to any other reason, no refund is possible.

Students should pay for their course only if they are certain of their ability to comply with the course Requirements for Participation, the Code of Conduct, as well as the Terms and Conditions of Payment.

Privacy policy

The data the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre store from students may be used for marketing and advertising purposes such as keeping students up to date with our schedule. We will not share student details with any outside body.

In the event that sensitive physical or mental health information is shared with the teacher it will be kept secret from other students. Assistant teachers may be informed if it pertains to them helping the student. Students can request for such information not to be even shared with other teachers at the HIYC.

Refunds & Cancellations

It should be understood fully that money once deposited is not refundable except if

The paid fee can also be transferred to any other Yoga Course or date at the HIYC.
