Sharat Arora (Anand Sagar) – Mistrz jogi
Urodzony w 1953, odkrył jogę w 1978. Przez okres siedmiu lat przechodził intensywne szkolenie u BKS Iyengara w Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Institute w Punie, gdzie asystował Guruji’emu w prowadzeniu zajęć z praktyki asan.
Sharat made a breakthrough in understanding what Sharat, w tym okresie rozwoju i przemiany, żył w społeczności buddyjskiej i zaczął interesować się medytacją, w szczególności Vipassaną.
Ha (Słońce) i Tha (Księżyc). W ten sposób pozbywamy się blokad a Prana,
siła życia, może równo wszędzie płynąć.” Sharat Arora
Shivani (Beata) - Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Shivani (Beata) is a certified Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre Teacher. From an early age she was deeply interested in spiritual teachings and meditation. From 18 year old she started a self-study of the human psychology and eastern philosophy of life, including Taoists teachings, Zen and Yoga, from whatever materials were available to her. Her school years she spent most of the time doing sports like athletics as well as martial arts. That deep interest in the human body as well as the human consciousness made her to have a first contact with yoga practice in 2005, after which she continued her yoga studies in traditional B.K.S. Iyengar style in her home town Warsaw in Poland. In 2009 she went to India for an extensive yoga study with Indian Master Teacher Sharat Arora at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre to deepen her experience of the universal wisdom of spiritual practice and meditational silence. Since then she lives in India and the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre became her home. During all this time she continued intensive self-practice and participated in all the most important courses conducted by the Yoga Master Teacher Sharat Arora. She also assisted him on numerous consequent intensive, teachers’ trainings, yoga therapy courses as well as many other regular yoga classes on all levels. Under his kind guidance each course was a very deep experience of awakening the body intelligence and creating the inner spaces. Since April 2011, accordingly to the Master Teacher Sharat Arora request, she started teaching yoga at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre as well as at the Himalaya Shanti Ashram in India and in the Summer time conducting International Yoga Workshops to share how fully aware and harmoniously practiced Yoga influences not only our body, but also create a deeper, full of acceptance relationship with the Inner Self as well as with all the Surrounding World.
Antje Beerbaum - Yoga Teacher
After crucial changes in my live I started practicing Iyengar Yoga in 2010 to find myself and a new direction in life. I quickly realized that it is not enough for me to practice once a week in yoga class. So I decided to start an Iyengar Teacher Training in my home country Germany to get a faster and deeper approach to this yoga method. At the same time I also began Vipassana Meditation in the Goenka method.
After meeting Yoga Master Teacher Sharat Arora in Hanstedt, Germany I followed him to the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre (India) in 2012 and since then I completed Intensive and Teacher Training Courses as well as months of assisting and teaching.
I am happy to share my experiences following this method which enriched my own life so much that it might help you to find your own path in life and to become a happier person.
I speak German and English
Leona - Yoga Teacher
Leona journey with Yoga goes back as far as 20 years ago. It all started in Brighton, England where she had her very first yoga class upon her visit to the Mediation Centre. Since that very first day Leona can’t remember a day of her life passed without practice.
Although her constant work’s travels were a hinder to have a fixed Yoga routine practice, it served her well when she started to get a global taste of how Yoga is being practiced all over the world. It gave her the opportunity to visit Yoga studios and meet teachers from all over the world. From New Zeeland to the United States, Mexico to Japan, and all over Europe and Scandinavia.
Few years later, she came to a decision to go for her life-long dream; to become an International Certified Yoga Teacher and “coach”. She quit her "secure" well-paid job to pursue this passion of teaching Yoga and bring people awareness to how such an ancient practice can transform their life for good.
Her journey has yielded so far different degrees and certifications and she also became an International certified life-coach and master practitioner of NLP.
She incorporated coaching into her yoga teaching as well as sharing advice on nutrition, healthy life-style, self-confidence, communication skills.
Her most unique experience so far, is when she entered the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre and met the former student of Guruji BKS Iyengar - Yoga Master Teacher Sharat.
His teaching is inspiring and experimental, coming from his heart and a vast exploration of yoga practise for over 40 years.
He became her mentor.
After several months of daily practice guided by her Guru Leona entered her third Teachers Training Course at the Himalaya Shanti Ashram with Himalayan Iyengar Yoga, and straight after she began with assisting in the 5-Day Yoga Courses as well as the Yoga Therapy Courses. Currently, Leona is a formal Teacher at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre in both locations Dharamkot, Dharamsala as well as Arambol, North Goa.
Leona is inspiring, dedicated and well-disciplined.
Her favourite motto is - “Move your mind, then the body will follow “,
