Using nature inspired design, to create resilient land management & food production systems
This 7 Day Course will explore the basics of Permaculture Design so as to apply this understanding to create multi-layered food producing gardens, from the ground up.
Participants will spend most the day outdoors, observing the systems as they are, learning natural & effective gardening techniques, designing the landscape and implementing these designs.
This course is designed to equip the participant with the skills needed to set up a regenerative food production system that is in harmony with Nature.
More information: – This is a hands-on course where part of the time will be spent learning and building the conceptual framework of permaculture and regenerative thinking, which will include all the basic principles and theories of Permaculture and how to understand Design in Permaculture, though most of the time spent in the Permaculture sessions will be outdoor or project based.
This course is open to people completely new to Permaculture & working with the land and also to those who have prior experience or have done certificate courses in the same as this kind of a course offers more hands-on experience than a certificate course usually does. It can also be a great place to brush up on the basic theory while putting it into practice.
